South Africa's West Coast National Park has opened its Postberg section for the 2024 wildflower season, running from 1 August to 30 September. Visitors can marvel at the spectacular blooms daily from 9:00 to 17:00.

Despite ongoing maintenance at the Geelbek Restaurant, food trucks are available at key locations to cater for visitors. The park has adjusted its general gate times for August and September, with extended hours in the latter month.

Conservation fees vary, with discounts for South African citizens. Adults pay R110 with ID, while international visitors are charged R247. Children under 12 enjoy reduced rates.

The West Coast Region SANParks Honorary Rangers have produced a "Spring Flowers" guide, available for purchase at the Postberg entry. They've also introduced a new birding booklet and a children's bingo activity.

Park officials encourage visitors to experience the stunning floral displays and utilise the available resources for an enriching visit to this natural wonder.
